The Ponygirl Education of the Wild Ponygirls
Level 1: become a Wild Pony Aspirant
Applicants for WPG Pony should first have a conversation with a trainer to determine whether they are suitable for the role and understand what being a pony entails.
I have noticed that completely new pony aspirants often do not know how to walk properly.
This means that they only move using the keyboard.
The first step would then be to teach them how to walk using Buttgrab and Mouselook.
Once this has been done, the pony is given the title: “WPG PONY ASPIRANT.”
The pony also receives the note card “Pony Training Notecard Pony Trainee…”
Level 2: become a WPG Pony Trainee
This is the second stage, the basic training, so to speak.
As a pony trainee, the emphasis is not yet on perfection, but rather on showing the pony the most important disciplines, explaining them, and letting the pony perform them.
1. Discussion with trainer/stable mistress
2. Pony tack
3. Pony behavior
4. Whip signals carting incl. pulling cart (5 times)
5. Whip signals whip circle (basic V0)
6. Slalom simple error-free (walking and running) each 5 times
7. Barrel simple error-free (running) 5 times
8. Steeple simple without faults
9. Dressage basics
10. Flower basics
11. Polo basics
When the trainer certifies that the pony has learned these things, the pony gets the status: “WPG PONY TRAINEE“
the pony is given the note card: “Pony Training Notecard Wild Pony ”.
Level 3: become a WPG Wild Pony
To become a WPG Wild Pony you need to solve following requirements:
1. whip-sinale carting (very safe) incl. cart pulling ( 5 times)
2. whip signals whip circle (V1)
3. Slalom (no. 1) go under 16.00 seconds faultless (walking)
4. Slalom (no. 2) run under 12.50 seconds without mistakes
5. Barrel (No.3) under 21.00 seconds faultless (running)
6. Steeple Loghill faultless (3 times in a row)
7. Dressage Classic and Traverse (flawless)
8. flower dressage (8 letters)
9. polo (5 games in training)
If everything is fulfilled the pony gets the status: “WILD STABLE PONY“
Congratulations! You are now a really good WPG ponygirl!
The pony is given the note card: “Pony Training Notecard Super Wild Pony ”.
Level 4: become a Super Wild Pony
To become a WPG Super Wild Pony you need to solve following requirements:
1. Whip signals carting (very confident) all speeds incl pulling Cart (5 times)
2. Blind carting very confident (5 times)
3. Whip signals at whip circle (basic, V1, V2)
4. Slalom #1 (at training level) without faults below15.00 seconds
5. Slalom #2 (at training level) without faults below 12.00 seconds
6. Barrel # 4 below 54.5 seconds without faults… (three times in a row)
7. Steeple: Caribbian or Pegasus (depends on season) (max 1 fault)
8. Silent dressage classic, flawless (complete with start and finish)
9. Silent dressage traverse, flawless (complete with start and finish)
10. Modern Flower Dressage (15 letters)
11. Classic Flower Dressage (15 letters)
12. Polo participation in at least two tournaments
If everything is fulfilled the pony gets the status: “SUPER WILD PONY“
